Two of my sister's cats had KITTENS!
Moocow is a younger cat who had a decent sized litter, although only one survived because of complications. Plus her milk supply dried up. Luckily Sassy was able to take over nursing the one little Siamese left from Moocow's litter in time for him to survive.
Sassy had a litter of about 5 kittens. I'm pretty certain that they all survived and were adopted. She is the mother of the Orange kitten that we got to foster.
The parent cats were all spayed/neutered after this incident of mass kitty birth. *Whew*

All of the kittens were adopted except these last two who were having a hard time finding homes. So of course I offered to keep them at my place and help find homes for them! I really wanted to make sure that they got good homes and didn't end up in a shelter or having kittens on the streets.
It was fun taking care of them and watching them scamper about while I waited for people to respond to the "adopt me now" ads.

They were both very playful kittens who loved to get into and on top of everything! The Siamese was more independent from humans and was usually quite busy roaming about and attacking odd and ends, so he didn't want petted as often. The little Orange girl was the one who would come to people purring for comfort and affection and often falling asleep cuddled up with us while watching tv. After the siamese boy realized his sister wasn't there to play with him then he would come up and lay beside her with us.
Eventually it was time to say goodbye. A couple who adored cats came to see them and it was love once they met. They picked them up and they began purring, they were both adopted that night.
It was sad to see them go, especially the orange tabby kitten who was so sweet that she purred nearly every time i picked her up. The Siamese/Ragdoll kitten was so adventurous and playful, I will miss him getting all sleepy eyed and resting on my lap in front of the TV.
May they lead long happy lives together!
