I've always had an unconditional love for most all living things, but cats are the creatures I adore most.
I've been fixated on watching how cats behave and admiring them since before I could even write.
When I was young my parents got divorced and my sister, dad and myself moved in with my grandparents.
We had visits with our mom every Wednesday for a while, but that ended all too soon.

There is a park across the street from their house that people would sometimes drop off cats at.
My grandparents were kind and let all of the cats stay at their place as long as they wanted
and even took them in for doctor visits to get fixed and assure they were healthy.
When we moved there it was the first time I remember ever seeing a group of cats together in one place.
It was like a magical land where cats could coexist and thrive, I loved it!

The cats were allowed to come and go as they pleased, although certain (less adept) cats were kept
indoors at night since there were raccoons that also came to the house to eat from the cat dishes..
I lived there for many years and the most cats to live at their house at one time was about 20.
Some cats were indoors only, outdoors only and some were indoor & outdoor cats.
I got to know most of the cats personalities and become friends with them . . . more or less.
When I was lonely or sad there was always a cat or two to hold, pet or play with.
The cats helped me deal with my parents divorce and have become an important part of my life forevermore.
