Why not watch some Videos of Lisa?
Here is Kyoko saying hello to Lisa for the very first time.
Before and After adoption photos!
Here is a front shot of Lisa sitting, at first it doesn't look like too dramatic of a change.
If you look carefully you can see a difference in the texture of her fur. It was much thinner when we first adopted her.

In this next photo you can see how she has gained more muscle mass, I think she even looks more confident nowadays.
This next shot shows how thin she was. When we used to pet her we could clearly feel her skeleton, especially on her hips and shoulder blades. She was pretty dehydrated.
These photos are pretty clear. She was balding on her hind quarters, as you can see this is no longer the case! Thank goodness!
Here is another example of how her fur used to look. It was thin on the sides around her belly. You can see the stripes that are close to her skin.
Here is how the fur on the top of her neck looked, it was thinner as well. Now she has a full glorious mane that any kitty could be jealous of!
We are so thankful that we were able to adopt Lisa from some very nice people who found her outside their workplace.
It was a miracle that happened in such an intricate way. Lisa is so brave and her being postiive for F.I.V. has not hindered her in any way. She Isn't sickly and has plenty of energy. She gets along with other cats, children and even some dogs!
She is a great cat, a best friend and a brave adventurer. Thank God for cats like Lisa.
Don't be afraid of helping someone, animal or human just because of a "disease".
Sometimes difficulties try to hide the most worth while things in life. Be brave, be bold and give, give, give until everyone around you can be just as happy as you are.
May everyone have peace and love in their world!
